Training Level Eventer Qualified for AEC’s/Area II Champs

Want a horse who will show you the ropes xc? TE Sollozzo is an Irish TB imported from Ireland who looks like today's modern warmblood with thicker bone than the average TB. He is 16+ hands,  9 y/o,  dark bay in color and has had nothing but professional training since coming off the track 3 years ago.  Don't let his height fool you:  current rider is an ex college basketball player and just under 6' tall.  Extreme care has been taken in training him slowly and methodically, and he is now ready for his forever partner in crime! Since he was trained to be a Steeplechaser in Ireland, he has jumped the massive 5 rail fences at speed, and he is a xc machine. He literally has given me THE BEST FEELING I HAVE EVER HAD XC which is saying something considering I have competed a good 25 horses in eventing.  

Ozzy has had 1.5 seasons at Training level, and there is literally no xc question at that level he won’t do.  I highly suspect he will be getting a “Year End Award” in the USEA area 2, even though finances kept him out of showing much of this year, as ~ 2/3 of the time this year he was in the top 5.  He qualified for the area championships at Training level in 2024 and 2025, and qualified for those champs and the AECs in 2025.  He is best suited for an AA who would like to hang out in the lower levels or a gutsy 18-25 y/o kid on a lower budget looking to go from Starter to Training quickly.

Ozzy is a super personable, sweet, and outgoing horse who loves his people.  He will entertain the masses with his tongue tricks.  He loves to snuggle and wants to be a lap dog.  He is great for the farrier, vet, bathing, clipping, trailering, etc.  A super bonus is that he is a very easy keeper.  He even needs to wear a muzzle during the spring and fall to limit grass intake because he gets fat on air.  He has taken my working student over several courses of cross rails safely, and has been shown by another student at BN in a derby at Loch Moy during the winter.  He has also recently decided that he would love to be a 2’9” hunter, as he has shown an interest in going slow and steady at that height.  That being said, he has more of a jumper mentality and can be a clean jumper up to 3’.
