Fall is my favorite season, and October is always a special month. The trees changing, the crisp air, and life on the farm just feel that much more magical. As we enter the season of giving, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the highlights from this past month.
1️⃣ Plaid Horse Magazine Feature
This was our first big feature, and it means so much to me. Seeing Elite Equine recognized in this way feels like a full-circle moment. The idea for Elite Equine came to me in 2023. I started building it solo, hired freelance developers, launched a very basic beta last November, and now — here we are! Being a solo entrepreneur is hard, but taking a step back to celebrate the progress and small wins makes it all worth it. 2️⃣ Showing at Tryon & Promoting Elite Equine
I spent a couple of weeks showing at Tryon and had the chance to set up a booth/ Happy Hour for the Major League Show Jumping CSI5* Grand Prix with Tori Bilas Studios to promote our businesses. A fun highlight? Our hats were signed by the Top 3 Finishers: Nicola Philippaerts, Kent Farrington, & Shane Sweetnam— such a cool experience and a memory I’ll cherish.
3️⃣ Washington International
October also took me to Washington International, where I got to reconnect with old friends, meet new partners, and strengthen relationships that are helping Elite Equine grow. It’s always inspiring to see the community come together and celebrate the sport we all love.

Fall reminds me to pause, enjoy the small moments, and celebrate the journey. I’m so grateful for this past month, and I can’t wait to see what the holidays bring!
